The University of Miami Social Cognition Lab, directed by Dr. Elizabeth Simpson, focuses on understanding early social and cognitive development.
Our research team is actively involved in a number of investigations, including studies of face processing and imitation in infants, children, and monkeys. Our tasks typically involve watching pictures and videos on a computer screen.
We currently have studies for infants from birth to 13 months of age.
If you have a child who is not the right age for our current studies but you are interested in participating in future studies, please contact us and we will contact you when we have a study in which your child can participate.
