The University of Miami Social Cognition Lab, directed by Dr. Elizabeth Simpson, focuses on understanding early social and cognitive development.
Our research team is actively involved in a number of investigations, including studies of face processing and imitation in infants, children, and monkeys. Our tasks typically involve watching pictures and videos on a computer screen.
We typically have studies for infants from birth through 1 year of age, and for older children through 9 years of age. If you are interested in learning more about participating, please sign up and we will contact you when your child is eligible.
